Neil has 30 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure market. He is currently responsible for the growth strategy of MTR Corporation’s European Business.

Most recently Neil led MTR’s proposition for the DfT West Coast Partnership Franchise competition, the MTR team for winning the South Western Franchise with First Group in 2016, also winning and mobilising the TfL Crossrail Train Operating Contract for MTR in 2014/15.

An experienced senior executive he has led and delivered many groundbreaking commercial transactions and turnkey projects including complex finance structures and brownfield delivery conditions. This includes Nottingham’s NET Line 1 LRT system and London’s £1billion Victoria Line Upgrade.

Prior to joining MTR Neil co-led a corporately backed international start-up and successfully brought a new e-mobility product to market.

Neil is a qualified engineer, he graduated with a degree in Civil
