He began his career at KPMG as consultant where he spent 5 years conducting audits and consulting to public & private travel sector within an international network. He then spent 4 years as European Global Sales Director for Raffles & Swissôtel to then transition as VP Business Development for the ‘Groupe Barrière’ in charge of their leisure, hospitality and casino revenues for 6 years.
In 2013 he leaves the tourism industry for the financial services sector with American Express where he spent 9 years in various
value generation roles which led to his VP Strategic Partnerships & Customer Engagement position across the international charge card portfolio.
He was appointed Accor’s SVP Business Development & Partnerships in 2018, signing his return to the tourism industry. Mehdi Hemici is currently in charge of defining and building an impactful transversal partnership strategy. He works in collaboration with brand, marketing & loyalty departments, to ensure business fundamentals are enhanced by strategic alliances.
Mehdi leads the ALL – Accor Live Limitless value proposition partnership strategy to bring to life the ‘augmented hospitality’ ecosystem in key verticals that grows the loyalty program membership, drives engagement and delivers tangible business growth.
